On March 17th, amnesty international held its culminating “Stop Torture: Stories of Survival” event. The event featured a talk from Marina Nemat, author of ‘Prisoner of Tehran’ and a torture survivor. It also featured a screening of the 2014 film “Rosewater” directed by Jon Stewart.
