Wanted: cellphone bandits strike again

[su_dropcap size=”5″]P[/su_dropcap]olice are investigating an armed robbery which occurred near Atkinson Road on Monday night. A community member was reportedly approached by three males on the north side of Atkinson.
The assailants were allegedly armed with a handgun. “A demand for personal property was made and a cellphone and wallet was obtained,” the bulletin reads. Suspects were said to have fled in the southbound direction. No injuries were sustained.
Toronto police joined the search for the suspects while extra security patrols have been initiated in the area. All three suspects are described as male, slim build, approximately five-feet 10 inches in height, early 20s, short dark hair, and wearing dark clothing. York security couldn’t comment on the increasing armed robbery reports.
