A York student has been charged with aggravated sexual assault according to Toronto Police Services.
In a news release on November 15, TPS states, that allegedly he had unprotected sex with a 53-year-old woman between May 2012 and February 2013, without disclosing he was HIV positive. The incident happened in the Kingston Road and McCowan Road area.
York sent out a mass email to its students late Friday afternoon, urging anyone with information to contact Detective Constable Amy Handsor at 416-808-4367.
Toronto police urge anyone that may have had sex with the student to seek medical attention, as they believe there may be more victims.
