spotted on campus • Despite the frigid weather, members of the student union are camping outdoors in the Harry W. Arthur Commons to bring attention to the Day of Action February 1 in Queen’s Park. According to the York Federation of Students’ vp campaigns and advocacy Alastair Woods, the event is meant to “bring attention to Ontario’s skyrocketing tuition fees, and talk about how students have been left out in the cold by the Ontario government.” When asked by Excalibur if this campaign was getting any attention from students, Woods said that a student had given her coffee to the students in order to help them stay warm.
