Lions vs Ridgebacks
The York Lions began their season strong against the UOIT Ridgebacks, surpassing their opponent with a seven-goal shutout. Two of those goals were made by OUA goal leader Adrian Pena.

Lions vs Mustangs
After the Western Mustangs eliminated the Lions in the OUA playoffs last year and gave the Lions their first loss this season, the Lions bested the team 3-2 later in the season.

Regular season – Oct 24
Lions vs Lancers
The win against the Windsor Lancers, the last game of their regular season, marked the team’s 12th win. It would also secure their spot at the top of the Western division.

Quarter finals – Oct 30
Lions vs Golden Hawks
After giving the York Lions trouble in the regular season, the Laurier Golden Hawks fell to the team 2-0 in the quarterfinals. For York, it took them one step closer to their OUA championship goal.

Lions vs Rams
In a suspenseful match between two powerhouses, the Lions fought back from a 1-0 lead and outscored their opponent in the last few minutes. It became one of the most memorable matches this year.
