Examining Ontario’s new disability law

Ontario has joined other provinces in the move toward making its facilities and businesses more accessible for persons with disabilities. In June 2005, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) became law.

TEDx at York U

The world-renowned TED talks made their way to York Nov. 6 via TEDxYorkU. The theme “Ctrl + Alt + Delete,” all about change, linked seven speakers and two performers, all of them York alumni or students. The presenters educated an intimate audience of 100 with a day of presentations, panel discussions and choice videos pulled from previous TED talks. Weekend crime spree

Four people were robbed on York’s Keele campus during the past week, worrying some students who have to walk around campus at night.
