The Creation of Writing

August A. Tsun
Taunted we are with the tattered fragmented pieces of the petrified corpus
Stages in age stone sounds sheet without texture from inarticulate howling primates
Millions of false dates from the faculty of fossickers
In all of this no letter has ever been found Why fear the state of science loud?
Stone strikes of past thoughts refuse to speak sentences
Tomb silent they lay under tread untransmutable
Code cannot right and rewrite itself by chance
How many billions of stumbling blind eyes did it take to suddenly see
what fin ever fled the element wet with salted wings to flee the air barrier?
Yet we rule and vote it was, and must be, written by force of death. Carried.
I was the first, U came after
Reason crossed the line and more to curve it
The cross enlightened him – or did she?
Charges arc on argil still no soul matter crosses the line.
U could never come to B without thought and devise
B rewrites U with I and Us.
Letters script to text telescopic deliberate authored events
It’s not the l that is missing in the ink
Or the p that is missing in the age Not a y that is missing in theory
But this link that is missing the chain
The grammar rules will permit determiner number adjective to modify nouns,
but only of nouns of the same language. Except in poetry.
A horse is parodied to another stripe, the albatross to zebra dove.
There always was. The why is in the way.
Were you meant to be told
without looking for it
never would have been written in code.
