Healthy Recipe, Pumpkin Stew

Serves up to 6 people

Ingredients:

    • 1 bowl of peeled pumpkin slices
    • 2 tsp of brown sugar
    • 3 cups of water
    • 2 cinnamon sticks
    • 1 cup of milk (optional)
    • 1 tsp of cinnamon a handful of cloves

Warm a pot half full of water at a low temperature for 30 minutes; drop in the pumpkin slices and stir often. Let boil until pumpkin is tender and pulpy. Continue stirring while adding two teaspoons of sugar, two cinnamon sticks and the amount of cloves desired. Add water throughout to make the stew softer. Once the stew is soft, take it off the stove and let cool. Add milk if desired.
