Fashion on Campus

Students have been showing off their fashion consciousness all over the Keele campus this fall season. The two students featured here, Danielle Roche and Uche Amaechi, show you don’t have to wear sweat pants to be comfortable on the commute to school.

Name: Danielle Roche
Year & major: second year design
A design student and fashion blogger, Danielle is definitely a fan of vintage. She found her poncho, top, shorts and shoes at thrift stores, her bag at GAP and her stockings at H&M. On the inspiration for her outfit, Danielle said she was in a rush, wanted to be comfortable and that “ponchos are fun!” Danielle shows that comfort doesn’t have to take the place of style with her unique, layered outfit.

Name: Uche Amaechi
Year & major: fourth year political science
Like Danielle, Uche Amaechi chose his outfit based on comfort and style. Uche commutes to school and had to consider the recently cold fall weather when getting dressed. “I figured my cardigan would keep my ears warm while waiting for the bus,” he said. Uche combined his hooded cardigan from GAP with a t-shirt from American Apparel, jeans from Urban Outfitters, Converse Chuck Taylor shoes and a Nixon watch for a look that’s both classic and practical.
