An armed robbery occurred on Sheffer Terrace, just south of Assiniboine Road this past Friday, December 6.
According to a York security bulletin, the robbery occurred at approximately 11:20 p.m. Two males approached a York student and demanded he hand over his possessions, including his coat, wallet and cell phone.
No injuries were reported.
The two suspects are described as approximately 18-20 years of age, with skinny builds. They were last seen driving off in a dark coloured car.
This is the second armed robbery to occur within the last three weeks in the York community. York has increased security patrols in both adjacent areas surrounding the campus.
