According to a security bulletin released by the university, a robbery occurred on November 22 within the York campus.
At approximately 8 p.m., two community members were approached on Passy Crescent by three men, who were armed and demanded they hand over their cell phones and wallets. No injuries were reported as the community members complied with the their demands and handed over their possessions.
The three suspects are described by the security bulletin as between 18-20 years of age, slim build, wearing black hoodies and black sweat pants.
The bulletin states the three armed men were last seen getting into a black Honda Civic.
After this incident York Security has increased security patrols in the area.
Anybody with further infortmation is urged to call Toronto Police Services if they have any information pertaining to this or any other incident.
