A friend sent my girlfriends and I this “sexually oblivious female” meme. “RING A BELL?” the attached message read, calling out our straitlaced, prudish friend.
We all laughed for a while at how accurate a representation that was of our friend, who, despite currently being in a four-year-strong relationship, is pretty oblivious to anything sex.
She played along, laughing at herself. “What’s a pearl necklace other than a pearl necklace? What’s a bukkake? What’s a pink sock? What’s a bareback? So many questions I DON’T want to know the answers to.”
Ha! What a lie, I thought, at the same time realizing that I, too, didn’t know what any of those terms meant. On my own, I looked them up on Urban Dictionary, and then searched for more of the same meme, quickly coming to the conclusion that I know nothing of the many sexual quirks different people have. People are into some seriously weird shit.
So that’s what this supplement is about: answering questions we dare not ask but are dreadfully curious to know the answer to.
