How do you deal with the stress of exams?
Jessica (Seka) Lussier
second year, undecided
“Well technically I deal with it with these pills I just picked up […] and friends. Friends make it possible.”
Stefanie Conforti
First year, English
“Time management. And putting my social life on hold for a couple weekends. Basically, not going out, and preparing each day [for] what I’m doing for each class and breaks in between, so I don’t explode.”
Patrick Haliniak
First year, Sociology
“Cigarettes. Find other extra-curricular activities, I guess? Go play video games, go on the computer, do other stuff, take your mind off it for a bit, then go back to it. Don’t do it all in one shot.”
Nathan Allen
Second year, Film Production
“Well I have an iPod App and it tells me what I’m doing. I just make topics and sub-topics and then it sorts it out for me.”
Mikaela Demers
First year, Dance
“Just studying a lot, trying to find different ways to study, not just doing the same thing over and over again. Finding ways to break in between, or treating yourself here and there. So it’s not as painful as you think it is.”
