Construction workers, Toronto Fire Services, Emergency Medical Services, and Toronto police gathered near James Gillies Street and York Boulevard after a drilling rig collapsed, taking the life of 24-year-old construction worker Kyle Knox and injuring five more workers on-site. Surrounding roads have been blocked off and rerouted for safety and investigation purposes. According to the TTC, further construction will be held off until the investigation has concluded.
